Joint post of the year!

Wowsers!

And well done Mr Nosemonkey! The net really came into its own on that day and his site ( which is always an intelligent and thought-provoking read) became a much-valued resource.

And a huge thank you to Tim Worstall, whose Britblog Roundup is indeed an ace thing on an ace blog.

What a top way to round off the weekend. Thank you everyone who has followed my writing since 7th July. Without your kindness, sympathy, wisdom and cheer I would never have got this far.

We're like the homecoming king and queen of blogland. Only I'm not sure how my missus or your fiancée would feel about that...

Have you got that publisher sorted for the July 7th 2006 book yet ? Would be a good date for a marriage, too ....

Hee he, thanks Iain.
I'm not doing a July 7th book, (though I recommend people read Milan Lai's book out in April on 7/7 and the Iraq War and I am looking forward to reading Professor John Tulloch's book when it comes out.) I have been asked to write a book but not on that subject.
I will not be getting married on July 7th either! As that day is bound to attract a lot of attention and the wedding is a private day, a really special one for me and J and I don't want to think of the bombs at all on it.
( Or have the media on my case about it!) And like it or not, there will be a lot of media interest all over again when the one year anniversary happens, in fact it is starting already. Well, to be fair, it never goes away but there are times when it starts to really hype up again...so if I got married on that day it would look like a publicity stunt and that is THE LAST thing J and I would ever, ever want! Argh!

On July 7th 2006 I will be down the pub with Kings Cross United...drinking to our fellow passengers and all those who love them.
